How to Use the Custom Signal Generator

A standard speaker water ejector runs at 155Hz, but different devices have distinct mechanical configurations. For instance, smaller smartwatches or wireless earbuds have extremely tiny acoustic chambers which respond best to much higher pitches, like 1000Hz to 4000Hz.

Our customized water eject tool lets you dial in the exact frequency needed for any scenario:

  • Smartwatch Speakers: Set pitch to 165Hz with a Sine wave for Apple Watches or Samsung Gear.
  • In-Ear Bluetooth Earbuds: Target 2000Hz with a Sine wave. Because earbuds have micro-drivers, higher frequencies vibrate the diaphragm more efficiently without tearing.
  • Deep Mechanical Action: Select a Sawtooth or Square wave. These waveforms feature sharp, sudden voltage transitions that shake stubborn particles much harder than smooth sine waves.

Understanding Waveforms

Sound waves are defined by their physical geometries:

Sine Wave: The purest audio shape. Smooth, rounded pressure transitions. Ideal for standard liquid ejection and earbud testing.
Square Wave: Alternates instantly between positive and negative extremes. Extremely buzzy and harsh. Delivers high impact forces to displace heavy dust.
Sawtooth Wave: Rises linearly then drops instantly. Combines smooth displacement with sharp snaps, creating a highly effective mechanical cleaning pattern.
Triangle Wave: A linear rise and fall. Falls between sine and square. Provides a clean, focused punch perfect for medium-sized speaker cones.
